Gaggia Velasca Prestige is a super-automatic machine capable of preparing up to 5 coffee and milk-based drinks (4 of which with one-touch feature). With the Gaggia Velasca Prestige you can enjoy a traditional espresso or a creamy cappuccino with a touch of a button, customizing its length and intensity. The machine also dispenses hot water to make hot drinks and teas. The strengths of the Gaggia Velasca Prestige are the fast delivery times, the simplicity of use and the easy maintenance which ensures the durability of the product for a long period of time. The Gaggia Velasca Prestige presents a front made of stainless steel which makes it the perfect element both for locations in classic or modern furnishing environments.

Gaggia Velasca Prestige Features
Gaggia Velasca Prestige presents a rapid heating system capable of delivering coffee and producing steam with very little waiting time. The waiting times are usually less than 45 seconds. Gaggia Velasca Prestige with the Optiaroma functionality allows you to create customized drinks. With this system it is possible to choose up to 5 selections of quantity of ground coffee for each cup thus customizing the intensity of the aroma and the taste of the espresso. Gaggia Velasca Prestige is also equipped with a Memo function that can program the length of the drinks available by simply holding down the corresponding button for a few seconds. A further strength of the Gaggia Velasca Prestige is the possibility to choose between one of the three pre-infusion levels that allow the coffee grounds to be immersed just a few seconds before dispensing.

Unlike the normal Velasca model, Gaggia Velasca Prestige has an integrated milk carafe that can automatically froth milk for milk-based drinks that include cappuccino, milk froth, hot chocolate and cappuccino baby. The exclusive Velasca Prestige milk system emulsifies the milk twice from the carafe before dispensing it to guarantee the temperature and consistency of the cream. For easy and hygienic cleaning, the machine is equipped with a dedicated button for rinsing the milk circuit after each use. For simplicity, the carafe is dishwasher safe and can be stored in the refrigerator with milk inside when not in use.

Ceramic Coffee Grinder
Gaggia Velasca Prestige is equipped with a coffee grinder with ceramic grinders that allow to maintain the aroma of coffee beans, preventing them from overheating and burning. The ceramic grinders ensure long-lasting and silent performance during grinding. The coffee grinding function has 10 settings ranging from extra fine, for an espresso rich in cream, to larger grinds ideal for longer coffees. Gaggia Velasca Prestige also allows the use of already ground coffee thanks to the presence of an integrated bypass.

Cleaning and Maintening Gaggia Velasca Prestige
Cleaning and maintenance of the Gaggia Valesca are very simple to carry out. The brew group can be easily removed for manual cleaning. The machine has a pre-programmed descaling cycle with an automatic alert system that will notify you of the need to perform the cycle. The machine is compatible with the AcquaClean filter which ensures greater longevity of use. The cleaning of the milk circuit is instead ensured by the “Quick carafe cleaning” button. AquaClean water filter ensures you make the most out of your full automatic coffee machine. By changing the filter at machine request, you will not need to descale your machine for up to 5000 cups*, while getting the benefit of clear and purified water. As an added benefit, the descaling notification alarm is automatically deactivated once AquaClean is installed in your favourite Gaggia coffee machine. This espresso machine automatically cleans its coffee circuit with water upon starting up or switching off of the machine, this delivers a great, fresh taste with each cup of coffee.Regular descaling prolongs your espresso machine’s life. This machine will prompt when descaling is needed. It will guide you with on-screen messages what you have to do and when.
