Francis Francis brings primo espresso to my kitchen, "a first" !
Easy, simple machine to use. Beautiful Espresso in less than 60 seconds, perfect.

Updated review:
Like any good sports car or espresso machine TLC is required, the water here in Portland is heavy on minerals thus be sure to have the cleaning powders available for routine cleaning (every 2 mos)

Net/net the Francis Francis is a very good machine requiring periodic maint how er your mileage may vary

We bought this model while we lived in Italy and loved it. The coffee pods are perfect in every way: taste, variety and ease of use. We had to buy a 110v model to replace our 220v model when we knew we were moving back to the States. We've had three Italian coffee makers and the Illy version is by far the best.

Wonderful expresso with no mess and fuzz.

I love coffee, especially a good expresso or double shot latte. This machine is simple and easy to use. Over three decades I have nursed several different brand machines through the ordeal of giving birth to an expresso shot. This machine minimizes the variables and consistently produces a quality shot of expresso. Preheat until the light goes on, pop in an ipser cartridge, push a button, and voila, The illy coffee is wonderful. I like the dark roast. This machine offers a simple foolproof fast way to a good cup. Don't forget to warm your ceramic drinking cup before pulling the shot. This machine is "stylish" and has a small footprint. It will not hog your counter space.

As seen in the picture, its design is so cute and unique. And illy coffee is just good. Personally, I like illy much better than nespresso coffee. If you do so as well, this will be a perfect one for you.

Finally I have purchased a maker that tastes as good as the coffee in Italy (and Starbucks!). Only problem is the cost of the refills, but IMHO well worth the price to get an outstanding cup of espresso or latte every time. Highly recommended! Note: you must brew all coffees prior to frothing the milk, or there's a 10 minute cool-down period before you can brew another coffee. Not a problem for me, as I usually make just one.

une vÃ©ritable machine Ã expresso italien, bien au-dessus des normes de Nespresso. (en particulier les capsules noires). Quiconque bu un espresso en Italie, mÃªme juste dans le bord de la route Autogrill, sait quelle est la diffÃ©rence qui existe. Pas Ã©tonnant que Starbucks est pas en Italie, mais il ya deux mois en Italie a dÃ©mÃ©nagÃ© dans ma cuisine. Merci Illy!

Je adore la machine. Il ressemble beaucoup et effectue comme ils disent. La seule chose qu'il manque est une sorte d'un symbole ou un signe qui dit qu'il est en mode automatique ou manuel chaque fois que quelqu'un modifie le mode.

Have the machine has been going for a few weeks and I'm thrilled. For the small price absolutely great. It is also not as noisy as I expected. So even in the morning absolutely pleasant. The coffee tastes great. Fast Delivery. Highly recommended for the budget conscious. In addition, it is suitable for small kitchens!

Ich entschied mich fÃ¼r dieses GerÃ¤t nach langer Suche, weil es das beste Preis-LeistungsverhÃ¤ltnis versprochen. Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach, einmal im Handbuch sah und Sie alles verstehen. Hello, the machine is top handles and makes a great impression. For espresso or small coffee cups also completely okay, but for cups from 100ml of coffee is very watery even at the highest level.
